So Many Ideas, So Little Time

Now that the festive period is well and truly over and I feel like now it was months ago I can now concentrate on the many ideas I have whizzing through my head 24hours a day.
I work part time as a hairdresser, have a two year old daughter, a husband, a cat and now I want to get my craft business off the ground. When can I possibly get all these ideas out?
I’ve started taking my sketchpad around with me and although I’m not fantastic at art I get an idea of what I must have been thinking at the time (it is easy for me to forget things with mummy brain)
I am constantly married to my netbook at the minute, doing research, reading blogs, writing my own blog and occasionally cbeebies will have to make an appearance to keep my baby B quiet.
I have become completely addicted to an american website called pinterest. It is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!! It is sort of an online notice board so if I ever see something that I love or it inspires me I just ‘Pin it’ Simple!
I think it’s a good job I got my hubby the Xbox for Christmas otherwise I think he would be feeling completely rejected of an evening whilst I fulfil my unhealthy addiction to this wonderful world of craft!
Whilst I am not craft stalking I have been trying to get some of these little ideas out just to see what the response is.
I want to come up with a few lines of products to concentrate on and Have still got a few things to make which brings me onto my next subject…
My handsome Husband James bought me a Kindle e reader for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It’s small, light and mega sleek. I obviously want to protect it from my daughters two year old destructive hands and also from my clumsy self and the floor I seem to drop so many expensive things on (no wonder I was without a phone for 4months, Ooops!)
I knew exactly what I wanted and after picking my new netbook husbands brains I found it wasn’t available. I’m not a typical girlie girl, I have tattoos and listen to heavy metal so flowery or pink leather was out of the question for such a minimalist looking little thing (don’t get me wrong I am not adverse to a bit of girlie I just have to be in the mood.)
Anyway, I have another obsession in the form of Sherlock! Sunday nights are my favourite not just because Benedict Cumberbatch graces my TV screen but I just love the way the old stories fit into in modern day London. Genius!
Sherlock’s hat has been mentioned a few times in the last two episodes so there it was…my inspiration.
What do you think?
Great idea! Very unique
hiya aimee i love sherlock too did you watch the first series? the last episode the hound of the baskerville was the best so far i feel i thought how will they do it.. and it was great. the kindle pocket is fab you will have to write elementary on it somewhere. and of course sherlock holmes was a drug addict. lotsa love. xxxxxxx
