Blog stalking

I have found some lovely blogs from pinterest this week and have been doing some little craft bits I found on them.

My favourite this week is www.radicalpossibility.com

It is pure blog heaven for me and I love the inspiration this girl gives. I have completely fallen in love with her home and want to chevron all the walls in my house and her gallery wall is so cute.

Reading Zandi’s pretty pages has given me a good kick up the backside to get our house in tip top shape asap. Go take a look you wont be disappointed.

Also today I decorated a couple plain votives I had lying around. The first I glued vintage crochet trim around the top and middle to completely cover the glass. It was unbelievably easy and looks so pretty when it is lit.

I also glued some lace trim to some leftover Gu pudding glasses we had from ages ago. These are shorter in height than the previous votive so don’t light up quite as much but still look beautiful.  All three of these were made in around 1 minute and they look so effective.

Also today I have hung up our mirror and 2 plates for my wall collection. I’m not going to lie it is looking a little sparse at the minute but it’s a start.
